The First Ecosystem or Primitive Ocean is the first biome that existed on TIRA 292 B. It contains the first living things which are the first different branches of the evolutionary tree of TIRA 292 B.

The basic structure of the oceanic foodwebs has remained much as it has been for many millions of years : sunlight provides energy for countless billions of microscopic phototrophs, or phytoplankton, while the atmospheric hydrogen sulfide sustains equally prolific swarms of chemotrophs, chemoplankton. All these autotrophs will be food for tiny zooplankton like the anthostome larvae and the tachypods, and these in turn serve as an abundant food source for larger zooplankton like the gastrozoan larvae.
